We are not the first church to face challenges! In fact, much of the New Testament was written specifically for early Christian communities dealing with big problems. In this series, we’ll explore the New Testament letters written to 1 st century churches experiencing various sorts of conflict, chaos, and confusion. As we learn these communities’ stories, we’ll find comfort in knowing we aren’t alone in the difficulties we face. We’ll glean wisdom that has guided the church in every age as she strives to faithfully be the Body of Christ. And, most importantly, we’ll be reminded of God’s enduring faithfulness to the church through all our trials and tribulations.
