Food Ministry

The Food Ministry, a caring ministry to the
community, had its inception in May 1985. At this time it was
decided that food is needed all year long, not just at
Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Consequently, a monthly food collection
program was put into operation. The first two Sundays are
designated for FPC members to contribute the suggested
non-perishable items printed in the church bulletin and the
Hallelujah.
Originally, the Salvation Army was the
recipient of the food. Now, the Caring Company shares its
distribution.
Contributed items are categorized and boxed
for delivery. Volunteers are needed. Call the church office
(717-843-8041) for more information.
